San Miguel Wedding at Casa Tortuga. It is not a secret that San Miguel is our favorite place in the world. We particularly favor the fall time there and the way the light glows that time of the year, making San Miguel specially magical and romantic.
Once again, we had the chance to photograph the wedding of two creatives, which is always challenging and inspiring for us. Everything about their event was in tune with who they are and had such a strong sense of connection to the place. Shortly after our first consultation with Yoli and Joel we received a handmade save the date from them. Yoli’s words were: “This is our first labor of love”, as a prelude to so many unique details to be seen through their wedding planning. Every detail in this wedding was carefully selected and crafted. A custom designed and crafted wedding gown by the bride herself, handmade jewelry by Abelardo Gil for bridal party gifts, handcrafts by local artisans for wedding guest favors.
So much love and care went into this San Miguel Wedding at Casa Tortuga, as an anticipation to the character and the future of this nurturing and generous pair.
